Delete from Account Settings
What is deleted
- Your MarkFlow account and sign-in access.
- Your Personal Workspace and its bookmarks, structure, permissions and related data.
- Your active web sessions, extension devices, authentication methods, preferences and account-bound notifications.
What may be retained
- Content in an organization Workspace you do not own may remain for that Workspace and be transferred to its owner.
- Activity history may retain an event with the former actor anonymized.
- Restricted backups may temporarily contain deleted data until normal backup rotation; they are used only for service-wide disaster recovery or legal obligations.
If deletion is blocked
An organization Workspace owner cannot delete their account until ownership is transferred or that Workspace is deleted. This safeguard prevents accidental deletion of other members’ Workspace data.
If you cannot sign in
First use Forgot your password. If you still cannot access the account, email postmaster.mail@markflow.link from the account address. We may request additional verification before acting. Never email your password, verification token, authenticator secret or recovery codes.
After deletion
MarkFlow sends a confirmation to the account email address when mail delivery is available. The deleted account can no longer sign in. Creating a later account with the same email does not restore deleted data.
